WebSep 21, 2015 · Hmmm i just create a game via the menu and change "sv_lan 1" to "sv_lan 0" in the console then load another map (or the same) and my buddy can join. I use keybindings for all that so i just press two buttons and my server is ready for shooting, knifing, throwing nades and stuff. :) WebAug 12, 2024 · Setting "sv_lan" to "0" didn't work so far either (do you have to do that before creating the server?). We both own the game via Steam and use Windows 10. We also checked the firewall, which should not be a problem. Maybe someone here on the forum has experience with Source.
