I don't know why you couldn't find any info on it. I just stuck "1701 data cable" into a google search and got lots of hits. I'll leave it to you to do the research. WebDec 15, 2024 · @BlueRaja-DannyPflughoeft, well, if the cable works okay as a 10 Mb/s link, but gives errors at 100 Mb/s, negotiating the link as 100 Mb/s but sending only 10 Mb/s worth of data would still be likely to get errors, since the packets would be sent on the wire using the faster encoding, even if there's less of them.
